Our Story
For over 30 years, Gary Hopkins and Mark Kirves, Storm Water Systems founding partners,
have worked side-by-side to preserve and protect our natural environment in the
thermoplastics fabrication and welding industry. They found their path to improve
our water resources through a combination of business acumen, highly technical skills,
applications expertise, and a willingness to commit time and resources to the
growing problem of pollutants and litter in our surface waters.
Storm Water Systems honors our history by offering smart solutions designed
with the future in mind. The main criteria for all of our current and future
products is that they must meet the immediate needs of our customers while
ensuring a positive, long-term impact to the environment and water resources as a whole.
For this, our business is comprised of three core divisions:
Storm Water Systems takes great pride in
balancing our corporate goals, our customer’s needs and
responsible stewardship of our natural resources. To
accomplish this balance, we develop and maintain specific
partnerships with corporations and nonprofit organizations.
These partnerships allow Storm Water Systems to offer our
customers the most innovative solutions in the world while
simultaneously preserving and enhancing our delicate natural
