Vista Court Drain A Bandalong Litter Trap and additional collection boom was installed in the Vista Court drain at Scarborough for Redcliffe City Council. The Litter Trap was installed in a concrete storm drain and held in position by roller cartridges attached to vertical rider poles which allow for varying water levels. |
Yarra River In June 2005, three additional Bandalong Litter Traps were installed for Parks Victoria, as part of a State Government initiative through funding from an EcoRecycle Victoria Grant, to control floating litter and debris on the Yarra River. |
Pukekohe Race Course In 2004, Bandalong installed two litter traps in waterways that flow through Pukekohe Race Course and Motor Racing Circuit. This site generates large quantities of litter during major flood events. As the width of the watercourses increase considerably during floods, the litter traps were provided with 10 meter front collection booms which were fitted with flexible synthetic material skirts to accommodate the sloping banks and varying water levels. |
