Effective Installation and Performance Considerations

To ensure optimal performance, all StormX™ installations should consider the following:

Overflow Capability:

Engineered to effectively manage excess water flows, preventing backflow and ensuring smooth operation during peak conditions.

Tail-Water Effect:

Optimized to maintain consistant operational efficiency, even when influenced by various downstream water levels.

Trash Load Management:

Regular scheduled clean outs are crucial to keep the system functioning at peak efficiency, ensuring debris is consistently managed.

Installation Guidelines

Due to the tensile shear properties and limitations of plastic pipes, we recommend connecting StormX™ only to concrete pipes and structures. This ensures a secure and durable attachment, maximizing the trap’s efficiency and lifespan.

Ideal Applications

The StormX™ Netting Trash Trap is perfect for trash hot-spots, providing a reliable solution to prevent trash and debris from entering waterways. By intercepting debris at the source, StormX™ helps maintain cleaner, healthier aquatic environments.
